Should I cut my hair short to get?

my natural hair has been colored a lot its a little past my shoulders. It breaks off. I dont know if I should cut it short and then color it to my natural color and then get sewn in hair extensions until it grows to the length I want it to. My hair right now is pretty damaged. The back is longer then the front because it breaks off. What do I do?

I know you don't want to hear this - but cut it short %26amp; forget extensions. I did them (caucasian hair) %26amp; they broke my hair - so wen they were removed I was almost back to square 1.

Let ur hair b natural, dont play with ur hair all the time, ask the people who lost their hair in early age and how much they r trying to get good hair.

cut it short and then get them in. you need to get some hair products that toughen your hair. your hair might be weak thats why it breaks. so find a way to toughen your hair before you get your extentions in.

use hair thickening shampoos and get a hair trim every month to keep it healthy preventing split ends.

dying your hair your natural color will definitely help. the less you dye it, the better for your hair.

don't get sewn in extensions. they damage your hair despite what the salons try to tell you. they just want your money, so of course they're going to tell you that...get clip in ones. i've been using them for over a year and a half now, and i absolutely love them. they're not damaging to your hair AT ALL, i mean unless you tried to pull them out while they're still clipped in or something. they look great and just as natural as the more permanent methods. plus i love that you can take them out each night. it's much more comfortable. plus you might not feel like wearing them every day, and you don't have to! you can have short hair one day if you want and then long the next.

euronext is my favorite brand. they come with the clips already in them, and they're only like $70. they come in soooo many colors that you're pretty much guarenteed to find a color that will match your hair. they're 100% human hair, so you can dye, curl, straighten, wash, and do anything else to them that you would do with your hair. this is what i've been doing, and my hair has grown out sooo much since then. it's getting healthier but it still looks like i have long hair in the mean time. :)
